[Larry's jaw drops. JJ has everything he has always wanted and is everything Larry wants to be!!!]

Oh man, you're engaged and you have a fan club? You're so lucky!

[That does cause him to get to work on the sculpture with a renewed fervor.]

He's the king, JJ—just follow him!

[jacquesoff]

Sure do! JJ Girls are the best fans in the world.

[He loves his fans. And they behave themselves, unlike certain other fans he could name.]

And I'm engaged to the most beautiful girl in the world!

[JJ might not have his phone with him, but he doesn't need it when he has his powerful mind! He sends Larry a mental image of himself and his precious Isabella. (See icon.)]

You could say I'm a lucky man, but I got here through hard work and sheer talent.

[laurice]

[Larry pauses, gasping in awe when he sees the mental image.]

She is beautiful... [Then he blinks.] But I've been working for so loooooong... [He moves to another side of his sculpture to work on that.]

[jacquesoff]

[JJ enjoys the awed gasping.]

I know.

[But he doesn't enjoy that negative talk.]

Never give up! What kind of attitude is that? Besides, maybe you just haven't met the one yet. If you give up before you meet her, you're gonna miss out!

[laurice]

[This guy is right. And the prospect of meeting The One someday fires him up.]

You're right. [Slowly, Larry smiles while continuing to carve out the finer details in JJ's sculpture.] Yeah, you're right! I just gotta keep trying!

[JJ YOU ENABLER.]

[jacquesoff]

Yeah. Remember, nobody likes a quitter.

[And everybody likes a winner. JJ continues to hold his pose beautifully, glittering with the certainty of the truth in his words.]

And also remember, girls love talent, so don't shy away from showing yours!

[He thinks he is giving genuinely good advice!]

[laurice]

I won't! [Larry has reached the point where he's breezing through the final touches, fueled by renewed confidence and energy.] You'll see...I'll show them how much of an Ace Artist I can be!

[jacquesoff]

And an ace ice artist—that's the coolest.

[Please forgive JJ's joke. JJ surveys Larry's handiwork with pleasure.]

Looking good—almost as good as me!

[High praise.]

[Larry steps back, dropping his tools carelessly at the foot of the ice JJ, in all its kingly splendor. His eyes widen, and his lips part into an awed gasp at his masterpiece.]

Thanks! [He wipes his brow with the back of his hand.] Working with ice is a lot harder.
